Brant Law Library Services

The Brant Law Library is a privately funded library which provides services to members of the Brant Law Association, articling students and members in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. The library is staffed Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Members of the Brant Law Association are entitled to sign out print materials from the print collection for a 2 week loan period. Research and reference services are also offered at no cost to members. There is a self service photocopier/printer available at no charge to members and a 25 cent per page charge for non members.

The library provides free access to the following electronic legal resources: LexisNexis Quicklaw, WestlaweCarswell, Criminal Spectrum, Wrongful Dismissal Database, DivorceMate, Personal Injury Damages Partner, Civil Practice Partner, Employment Law Partner and the CCH Reference Library. Some of these resources are also available to members at no charge through the "Toolkit of Legal Resources". For more information, please contact the library. Training is provided for all of the electronic resources. Training sessions can be booked through the library. The Brant Law Assocation library is situated on the third floor of the Brant County Courthouse and is divided by 4 rooms housing the collection, office work stations and worktables. Robing rooms are situated on the 2nd floor.
